Choreography / Teaching
Izzy has a fresh and versatile choreographic lens. In June of 2024, Izzy had the privilege of being selected as an emerging young choreographer from an esteemed pannel and showcased her work at the Symphony Space in NYC as part the Young Choreographer’s Festival NYC. Izzy was also chosen to be the opening number choreographer for Terpsichore Dance Celebration’s Nationals event in the summer of 2024. Here she worked with over 100 dancers to create a 4 minute piece in just four days that was a smashing success. Izzy’s on camera choreographic work for Souls of the Deep was also recognized by Jillian Meyers and was personally selected to be showcased in a room full of industry professionals at Pace University’s showcase in LA.
Izzy has had the opportunity to teach at multiple dance studios throughout her career. When teaching she loves to spread her knowledge and prioritizes celebrating individuality in her classes. She specializes in teaching contemporary, jazz and hip hop. However, she is proficient in teaching all genres. She has taught at Studio North Toronto, Canada’s #1 dance studio for professional dancers. She has taught at international award winning studios including Vlad’s Dance Company, Performing Dance Arts and Canadian Dance Company. Other studios she has worked with include Axis Dance Studio, Dynamic Dance Company, Sandra Amodeo Dance Studio and many more.
